In 2015, the Edna Douglas Dancil Memorial Scholarship was established in honor and memory of Edna Mae Dancil. This scholarship reflects the ongoing commitment to the education of young people and service to the community.
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior with plans to attend a four-year college, community college, or technical school as a full-time student; or must be a full-time continuing student in a post-secondary school or college.
- Applicant must be a member of First Church and an active participant in at least ONE (1) church ministries/programs for a minimum of 6 months.
